Bruce
Solomon
Director of training Operations, President and CEO
Bruce Solomon, founder
and president of Rising Star Communication Trainings and the business
and organizational training company called Team Resource Associates,
brought the first human development trainings to Utah. At the time he
started community-building trainings, only group therapy and occasional
sensitivity workshops had stirred the placid consciousness of the Great
Salt Lake area. As a result of Bruce’s work, seven human development
companies have been founded, and transformational training centers have
sprung up in Chicago, Illinois; Phoenix, Arizona; Denver and Colorado
Springs, Colorado; Dallas, Texas; Honolulu, Hawaii; Sacramento, California;
and other states. Community-building training has traveled to such far-away
places as Milan, Italy; Melbourne, Australia; Auckland, New Zealand,
and most recently, Guangzhou, China, where Rising Star and Visionworks
trainers are the only licensed transformational trainers in mainland
China. Bruce received his bachelor’s degree from the University
of Utah and his master’s degree from the University of Phoenix.
He and his wife of thirty-eight years, Dorothy, have four children who
share and support his vision.

Layla
Solomon Hardy
Trainer
Layla Solomon Hardy has worked in the communications training field
since 1992. As a Ropes Course Director for third level trainings and
as a Veterinary Assistant, she learned how to manage and effectively
coach animals and people while earning her Bachelor’s Degree in
Human Biology with a double minor of Chemistry and English Literature
from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. On the Ropes Course she
assisted many people in taking on their biggest fears, conquering their
perceived physical limitations, and recognizing that these fears held
them back from their maximum effectiveness in everyday life. Feeling
compelled to make a bigger difference in this environment; she coordinated
Horizons training's for Rising Star Communications, Inc. in Salt Lake
City from December 1997 until June 1999. She became a Horizons Trainer
for Rising Star in June of 1999 and continues to supervise all Horizons
operations via the Horizons Coordinators in the Visionworks system.
She has been training in both cities for six years while supporting
her husband in his service to the country as an officer in the United
States Air Force.
